This is my second stint at being President of WINE. I was an inaugural member when we set up the group and I am delighted that WINE has thrived over this time.I retired from my job as a Headteacher over ten years ago and have filled my time with a new life! I have three beautiful grandchildren and it has been a privilege to be part of their young lives. I volunteer for Marie Curie and have a big time consuming garden. We have a touring caravan which we use to explore our beautiful country and I also belong to a Sheffield Stitch group

I'm a member of the WINE craft group too. I enjoy gardening, being outside, reading obviously, going on holiday and keeping up with friends.... usually over lunch! My husband and I both enjoy cooking and like to try new recipes.

I’m married to Adrian. We have one grown up daughter Layla who is also a member of WINE.The latter part of my working career has been spent working with children in a farm environment. Planning events and educational visits at Whirlow Hall Farm & Chatsworth Farmyard. As the saying goes ‘Don’t work with children or animals’. Working with children and animals has been unpredictable, great fun with never a dull day.I joined WINE a year ago and became involved in the committee. It’s a great team and we work together to plan diverse and interesting range of activities and outings, learning a few things along the way.
