Janice Pinder
Vice President

Hello, I'm Janice Pinder, I joined WINE 7 years ago and am currently Vice President. I am now retiredhaving worked all my career in the NHS as a nurse, midwife and for many years as a Health visitor. My extra role on the committee is as 'meet and greet' person for new members and visitors, making sure they feel welcome and have the information they need . I enjot being on the committee as all members are enthusiastic and work hard to make our WI a success.

Cheryl Burfield
Committee Member

I’m married to Adrian. We have one grown up daughter Layla who is also a member of WINE. The latter part of my working career has been spent working with children in a farm environment. Planning events and educational visits at Whirlow Hall Farm & Chatsworth Farmyard. As the saying goes ‘Don’t work with children or animals’. Working with children and animals has been unpredictable, great fun with never a dull day. I joined WINE a year ago and became involved in the committee. It’s a great team and we work together to plan diverse and interesting range of activities and outings, learning a few things along the way.
